John and Nancy Weir
Founders and Chairmen
John and Nancy began their careers as school teachers at Mt. Pleasant Area High School and Yough Middle School, respectively. In 1980 they combined their love of teaching with their love of travel, and established a student educational travel business, then called Scholastic Tours. Working together, Nancy and John built a business that has inspired hundreds of thousands of students through travel. Now in retirement, John and Nancy love spending time with their grandchildren and continue to travel the world with alumni and church groups.
